On Saturday, November 11, we will celebrate St. Martin's Day again for the young children in the neighborhood.

From 6.30 pm we leave from the entrance to the bridge (Vroonhoevelaan).

Register before November 10 via evenmenten@vroondaalhofstedepark.nl if you like to stand along the Brink with sweets, or you live on Nederhoflaan/Vroonhoevelaan and would like the children to ring your doorbell to sing a song or when you want to walk with the lantern bearers. Halloween October 28, 2023.

It's that time again, on October 28 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, children dressed up in their scariest outfits and wearing masks will go door to door to scare neighbours. Dear residents, if you would like to participate in this festival by having the children ring the doorbell, please register before October 21 via events@vroondaalhofstedepark.nl

Dear children, dress up on Halloween. Who has the scariest outfit, who makes the creepiest mask? Scare your neighbours and have fun with your friends.

Saturday 23 September Neighbors Day in the Stone Room

Together with the Events Committee of the Residents' Association of Westmade Park, we are organizing a Neighbors Day on Saturday 23 September from 7 pm. You can catch up while enjoying (yourself brought) snacks and drinks. At 8 p.m., a film suitable for 'the whole family' will start on a large screen in the Stone Kamer.

Just like last year, the Events Committee of the Vroondaal Hofstedepark Residents' Association is organizing a long table dinner. You decide together what goes on the table. Kitchen princes and princesses are invited to show their skills. Even if you think you are not such a great cooking talent, you are cordially invited to 'decorate' the table with something delicious. Below you will find a few 'rules of the game':

On Friday 26 May, the Dutch Don't Dance Division will present a mixed dance program in the Stenen Kamer completely in the open air! A perfect mix of delicious snacks from one of the food trucks and dancing treats.

The first neighborhood meeting will take place on Saturday 25 March from 12:00 to 13:00 next to the playground on Nederhoflaan. We exchange our clothing in the context of sustainability. Are you trading?

Spontaneous action for road safety by local residents

Following the various accidents that have taken place, the municipality has placed traffic controllers at the Madesteinweg-Vroonhoevelaan intersection with the aim of observing the traffic situation and drawing up a report on this.

Sinterklaas will arrive in Vroondaal Hofstedepark on November 27

Dear Vroondaal residents big and small, We're going to be together again on November 27 at 1 pm! Our dear Sinterklaas is coming again, so time to go to the park, at the playground!

October 29, 2022. Halloween

From 6.30 pm to 8 pm children will again pass the houses decorated with pumpkins and lights. With their creepy masks and scary costumes they try to scare the residents a bit.

Neighbour Party Vroondaal- Hofstedepark

On September 24 from 4.30 pm it is neighbor day in Vroondaal -Hofstedepark. The whole of Vroondaal has been invited to celebrate this day with a large cake promotion and an outdoor cinema for young and old. Bake your best and most beautiful cake and have a chance to win a nice prize. Don't feel like baking? No problem, it's about having a nice time together and getting to know each other (even) better.

News about the Design Landscape Park Madestein

The ‘GEM Vroondaal’ has been commissioned by the city council to develop the ‘Preliminary Design Quality Impulse Landscape Park Madestein’ (unchanged) into a Final Design. The reactions from 2020 from residents have not (yet) been taken into account.

The Municipality of The Hague would like to channel consultation with residents through so-called 'Wijkberaden'. In addition, the Loosduinen district has traditionally held periodic consultations with the Loosduinen Committee.

Long table dinner

Invitation to the 'Long table dinner' at De Brink (park at the Nederhoflaan/Vroonhoevelaan)

On Friday 8 July 2022, the residents of Vroondaal Hofstedepark were invited by the Events Committee of the Residents' Association for a 'Long table dinner'. Have a nice drink together from 17.00 and enjoy each other's food from 18.30. Children are of course welcome. In order not to burden the environment too much, we ask that you bring your own cutlery, plates, cups and/or glasses. Sign up before July 1st via west31@gmail.com, stating your name, number of people and (possibly) children. We hope for a beautiful sunny day where we can all enjoy ourselves.

Celebrated expansion of the playground

A beautiful playground has been realized. Many children and their parents are happy with this. Unfortunately, that is not the case for everyone. Local residents suffer from excessive noise, more rubbish on the street and busier traffic. Let's all make sure that the playground remains clean, that it does not become a source of annoyance and that nuisance for local residents is limited.

The Sporting Dutchman

Our resident Gerda alias 'De Sportende Hollander' has taken the initiative to connect neighbors in Vroondaal through sport and exercise. Strong spirit in every way.
